Biofuel Watch - Protest against planned Biomass Converter in Barton this Saturday.

Please circulate details and support the forthcoming protest March on Saturday 8th January at 10:30am (Meet at Broadway Park)

Plans by Peel Holdings to build a Bio Mass Converter in Barton by the Manchester Ship Canal are being vigorously opposed by the Breath Clean Air Group based in Urmston. This campaign group meets weekly and has already won widespread support after a 600 strong public meeting.

Health concerns are serious as the much of the recycled old wood burnt in theses incinerators is coated with paint and plastic which burn to produce toxic wastes. See the website for full scientific reports and campaign details.  www.BreatheCleanAirGroup.co.uk

The Breathe Clean Air Group has organised a protest for everyone to join. The aim of the event is to show everyone how much we, as residents, are against the incinerator proposal. We are inviting you to join our protest march and campaign against the Davyhulme Incinerator.

The march is on Saturday, 8th January, 2011 and we are meeting at Broadway Park, Davyhulme, at 10:30am.

From Broadyway Park we will be marching through Urmston town centre and we are going to Davyhulme Park for a rally. At Davyhulme Park there will be some speeches including one from MP Kate Green, a couple from the Breathe Clean Air Group and some Councillors.

DATE: SATURDAY 8TH JANUARY 2011
TIME: 10:30AM
WHERE: BROADWAY PARK, DAVYHULME.

Bring your whistles and loudest voices because we intend to be seen and heard!
Stand up for yourselves and your families and be counted!

The power of winning this campaign is in your hands. Do something now and make sure that you are heard!

We hope to see you at the march.
Kind Regards,

The Breathe Clean Air Group
