[biofuelwatch] Spotlight Sumatra events: Oxford, Bristol, Chester, London

The Sumatran Orangutan Society (SOS) works for a brighter future for orangutans
and their rainforest home, as well as the local communities who are dependent on
the Leuser forests of northern Sumatra.

Spotlight Sumatra is a celebration of the breathtaking array of life found in
the island's unique rainforests, and a call to action to collectively do all
that we can to save this fragile ecosystem, the last stronghold for many
critically endangered species.

The Gunung Leuser National Park is the only place in the world where orangutans,
elephants, tigers and rhinos all co-exist under the same forest canopy.

As part of a series of talks for Spotlight Sumatra, Panut Hadisiswoyo will share
insights from more than ten years on the frontline of orangutan conservation and
forest protection. Panut is the Founder and Director of the Orangutan
Information Centre (OIC), our partner organisation in Sumatra, and an MSc
Primate Conservation alumnus! He leads a team of thirty Indonesian
conservationists to carry out projects which address conservation priorities for
forests, biodiversity and communities.

Join us to hear from Panut about why there is hope for Sumatran orangutans.
