[biofuelwatch] Boeing seeks approval for fuel made of veg oil





Boeing seeks US approval for aviation biofuel made from vegetable oils & fats, and calling it 'green diesel'. Boeing is claiming 50 per cent greenhouse gas reduction compared to fossil fuels and that it will cost $3 per gallon. Existing refineries could supply 2.7 billion litres annually.
