One week from now, on the 22nd April, is Earth Day 2015. Without a hint of irony, Drax Plc, operators of the UK's dirtiest power station, have decided to hold their AGM on the same day.

Join us this coming Wednesday, 11:00-13:00, at the Grocers' Hall, Princes Street, London EC2R 8AD, to #axedrax at their AGM in London. From 13:00, we'll be heading straight to the Department for Energy and Climate Change offices, to tell them to #axedrax by ending their support for Drax power station.

Please also join us in making some noise on the 22nd by taking part in our #axedrax Thunderclap, tweeting @DECCgov to tell them to #axedrax, and signing our petition to say "no public funds" for Drax's new White Rose power station.

Find out about #axedrax
Drax Plc's AGM will take place on Wednesday 22nd April. We're planning a lively protest to expose and oppose Drax's coal and biomass burning, and we'd love to see you there. For more information on #axedrax and to get involved please click on the button above. We'll also be visiting DECC's London offices after the protest to tell them to end Drax's huge subsidies. Can't make it on the 22nd? You can still get involved online!
Join the Thunderclap
Help us to make some noise on the 22nd by joining our Thunderclap, and getting your friends to do it too! By signing up you'll be helping to create an online splash, and telling the UK Government that it's huge support for Drax power station has to end

You can also get involved in helping to #axedrax by signing our petition against Drax's new White Rose power station.

Biofuels are a wide range of fuels which are in some way derived from biomass.
