[biofuelwatch] Alaska Air biofuel flights





Alaska Air has entered into an agreement with Gevo to purchase jet biofuel.

The Forbes article states that Gevo 'converts corn and plant waste into isobutanol', it sounds as if inedible feedstock is being used.


However, the Gevo website states that the firm merely plans to 'deploy cellulosic isobutanol technology' Company Overview | Gevo
